An Evening at the Lodge~Experience local wine, dinner, and live music at the Bartush Lodge

May 19, 2012

The date has been set and the word is out!  The BLCC will host its first “Evening at the Lodge” event on Saturday June 23rd.  We have partnered with local Saint Jo Wineries, Arche and Blue Ostrich to offer a unique experience for guests that will introduce them not only to the Lodge, but also to all that our area has to offer.

Tickets are $75 each and will include a wine tasting at Arche and Blue Ostrich Wineries.  Guests will be led via caravan from one winery to the next.  They will spend about an hour at each tasting, sampling wines, getting to know the area, and hopefully choosing some local wines to bring home with them.  After the delights of the wineries, the guests will be led to the Bartush Lodge for dinner and music.

Attended stations will be set up throughout the Lodge so guests can mingle and enjoy the views we have to offer.  There will be an array of food to choose from, including surf and turf as well as dessert.   Complimentary wines from Arche and Blue Ostrich will be served with dinner and local musicians, The Bois D’Arcs, will begin an acoustic concert at 7:00 pm for guests’ entertainment.

Enjoy one of the many breath-taking views from the Lodge’s porch while you sip local wine and enjoy local live music by the Bois D’Arcs
